Hey, how is it going y'all? This is Blaze Ford, I'm the owner, the creator of Wicked Minds LLC and I just want to take a minute to tell my story. I say story, but it's more of a testimony. It's been a long journey of pain and gaining wisdom. I had to learn things the hard way because it had never been easy. My parents divorced when I was around seven years old because my mother was having an affair with the dude next door, so after that it just got worse. My new stepdad was an abusive man verbally and physically. It was a very toxic situation. On top of that, we were poor folks from the south, and I just went to this dark place. I started cutting myself to deal with the pain, but at the age of 12 it all ended. My mother picked her lover over her 4 kids, she abandoned us for her man and that really traumatized me for many years. So, we (me, my 2 sister & my 1 brother) moved to my father's house, and I got in with the wrong crowd, started drinking and smoking, trying to fix the pain the best way I knew how. I spent my teens and 20s in and out of jail just dealing drugs and using them, but in 2012 my younger brother died at 24 from suicide or homicide. Not sure, the facts are unsure, lack of evidence they say. Things were just getting worse for me in the streets. I went from snorting to shooting up cocaine to smoking meth, but then I got robbed and after that something hit me to change, but I didn't know how, so I went to my grandparent's house, and they told me to go my father! So, I took their advice and sucked up my pride and moved in with my pops. In 2016 I got clean from hard drugs and changed my life. I have been working a job for about 6 years now, but I want to do more than just be an employee. I want to help others who struggle like I struggled. I see I have the ability to lead and help others, so it is selfish of me to do nothing while others suffer. So that is a short version of my life. Thanks for taking the time to read.
